Shilou Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fangshan District, Beijing, is located in east longitude 115°55′34″~116°02′50″, north latitude 39°36′05″~39°40′45″, located in the middle of Fangshan District, east of Doudian Town, south of the town of Hanchunhe, Liulihe Town bordering the town of Zhoukoudian in the west, north of the town of Chengguan Street adjacent. The town area is 42.3 square kilometers.
In 1916, Shilou Town belonged to the second district of Fangshan County, and in 1954, it belonged to Shilou Township of Fangshan County, and in 1958, it belonged to Zhoukoudian District, and in 1960, it belonged to Fangshan County, and in 1961, it set up Shilou People's Commune, and in 1983, the commune was changed to a township, and in 1986, it belonged to Fangshan District, and in 1989, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2011, Shilou Town had a household population of 31,155. As of October 2019, Shilou Town is under the jurisdiction of 1 community and 12 administrative villages, with the governmental seat in the north of Shilou Village.
In 2011, there were 31 industrial enterprises in Shilou Town, and the total industrial output value reached 82,906,000 yuan, an increase of 11.7% over the previous year, with an industrial added value of 110 million yuan. Realized sales revenue of 740 million yuan, realized a profit of 34.558 million yuan, paid taxes of 26.759 million yuan, arranging labor force of 2038 people. Local financial income of 11.835 million yuan, an increase of 37.7% over the previous year. Completed tax revenue of 49.53 million yuan, an increase of 33.8%; from the point of view of each major tax, completed sales tax of 5.282 million yuan, value-added tax of 30.814 million yuan, corporate income tax of 8.741 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 37%, 19%, 133% over the previous year.
