Nanjiao Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Fangshan District, Beijing, is located between longitude 115°47'34"~115°53'10 "E and latitude 39°44'02"~39°49'02 "N. It is in the central mountainous area of Fangshan District, connected with Fuzizhuang Township in the east and north, and bordering Zhoukoudian Township in the south. It is located in the central mountainous area of Fangshan District, connected with Fozizhuang Township in the east and north, bordering Zhoukoudian Township in the south, and Xiayunling Township in the west. The area of the township is 40 square kilometers.
In the fifth year of the Republic of China (1916), Nanjiao area belongs to five districts of Fangshan County. 1952, it belongs to the West Mining District of Beijing. 1953, it set up Nanjiao Township. 1956, Xi'an Township merged into Nanjiao Township. 1958, it belongs to Zhoukoudian District, and set up Nanjiao Management Area of Heibei People's Commune by pulling out of the township. 1960, it belongs to Fangshan County. 1961, it set up Nanjiao People's Commune. 1980, it belongs to the Industrial and Agricultural District Office of Beijing Mining Bureau. 1983, the commune set up Nanjiao Office. 1983, the communal office is located in Beijing. In 1983, the commune was changed to a township, and in 1992, the Beijing Mining Bureau Industrial and Agricultural District Office was abolished and transferred to Fangshan District. As of the end of 2018, Nanjiao Township has a registered population of 6,484. As of 2019, there are 8 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Nanjiao Township, and the township government resides in Nanjiao Village, Nanjiao Township.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Nanjiao Township was 3.203 million yuan, a decrease of 13.8% from the previous year, and the value added of industry was 650,000 yuan. Local financial income of 3.368 million yuan, a decrease of 38.2% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of sales tax of 260,000 yuan, value-added tax of 207.5 million yuan, corporate income tax of 214,000 yuan, respectively, 90.9%, 18.5%, 75% less than the previous year. Per capita revenue of 390 yuan, 38.8% less than the previous year.
