Fozizhuang Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Fangshan District, Beijing, between longitude 115°44′09″~115°56′25″E and latitude 39°45′28″~39°55′00″N, is located in the northwestern part of Fangshan District, bordering Hebei Township in the east, connecting with Xiangyang Street and Zhoukoudian Township in the southeast, adjoining Nanjiao Township and Xiayunling Township in the south, neighboring Shijiying Township in the west, and bordering D'anshan Township and Mentougou District in the north. Tanzhe Temple Township and Wangping Township. The area of the township is 149.7 square kilometers. Before October 1949, the area of Fozizhuang belonged to Fangshan County Ninth District, Liangxiang County Fifth District, Fangshan County Seventh District and Fangliang Joint County of the Communist Party of China. 1952, it belonged to Hebei District of Beijing West Mining Area. 1953, it was set up as Fozizhuang Township. 1958, it belonged to Hebei People's Commune of Zhoukoudian District. 1960, it belonged to Fangshan County. 1961, it belonged to 2 People's Communes of Fozizhuang and Changchangchang. 1962, Fozizhuang People's Commune changed its name to Bangezhuang. In 1962, Fozizhuang was renamed Bangezhuang People's Commune.In 1971, it was renamed East Bangezhuang People's Commune.In 1980, it belonged to the Industrial and Agricultural District Office of the Beijing Mining Bureau.In 1983, the commune was changed to a township, with the establishment of East Bangezhuang Township and Changzao Township.In 1992, it belonged to Fangshan Mountain District.In 1993, the two townships of Bangezhuang and Changzao were merged to form Fozizhuang Township. As of the end of 2018, Fozizhuang Township has a registered population of 15,389. As of 2019, there are 18 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Fozizhuang Township, and the township government is located in Heilongguan Village. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Fozizhuang Township was 5.27 million yuan, a decrease of 38.8% from the previous year, with a total profit of 354,000 yuan.
