Shidu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Fangshan District, Beijing, is located between longitude 115°28′18″~115°41′50″ East and latitude 39°35′19″~39°45′55″ North. Located in the southwest of Fangshan District, it is connected with Zhangfang Township in the east, adjacent to Hugezhuang Township of Laishui County, Hebei Province in the south, bordering with Nosanpo Township of Laishui County, Hebei Province in the west, and neighboring with Puwa Township and Xiayunling Township in the north. The town area is 192.2 square kilometers. During the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911), Shidu area was set up as Shidu Li in Fangshan County. 1949, it belonged to the second district of Fangshan County. 1954, it belonged to the 8 townships of Liudu, Ma'an, Pingyu, Liuhui, Shidu, Shimen, Taiping and Wanglop. 1956, it belonged to the 4 townships of Liudu, Shidu, Shimen and Wanglop. 1958, it belonged to the 4 townships of Liudu, Shidu, Shimen and Taiping in Zhoukoudian District; in the same year, it was abolished and set up as Ma'an People's Commune. 19601966, it was set up as Ma'an People's Commune. In 1961, it belonged to 2 townships of Shidu and Liudu in Fangshan County; in the same year, the township was withdrawn and set up as Shidu People's Commune. 1983, the people's commune was withdrawn and set up as 2 townships of Shidu and Liudu. 1986, it belonged to Fangshan Mountain District. 1989, the 2 townships of Liudu and Shidu merged to form the town of Shidu. As of late 2018, Shidu Township had a household population of 11,424. As of October 2019, there are 21 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Shidu Town, and the town government is located in Shidu Village, Shidu Town. In 2011, the total industrial output value of Shidu Town was 8,083,000 yuan, with a total profit of 78,000 yuan. Total financial income of 9.772 million yuan, an increase of 12.5% over the previous year. Among them, the local financial income was 4.77 million yuan, an increase of 7% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of 13.64 million yuan of sales tax, value-added tax of 2.43 million yuan, corporate income tax of 1.24 million yuan.
