Bale Town, belonging to Guangxi County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of Guangxi County, east of Chengxi Town, Dianjiang County, Chongqing Municipality, and Haitang Town, Longevity District, bordering Fusheng Township in the west and south, and connecting with Shijue Town in the north. The area is 46.77 square kilometers, with a household population of 17,283 as of the end of 2018.
In the fourteenth year of Daoguang of Qing Dynasty (1834), the Baertan field was set up. In January of the 31st year of the Republic of China (1942), Bale Township was analyzed and set up.In May 1973, it was changed to Bale Commune.In January 1984, it was changed to Bale Township.In January 1994, it was merged with Wind Cave Township to form Bale Township.
