Park Overview
The Guang'an Economic and Technological Development Zone, abbreviated as "Guang'an ETDZ," was established in July 1995. In January 1996, it was approved by the People's Government of Sichuan Province as a provincial-level development zone. In January 2006, following a review by the National Development and Reform Commission, the Ministry of Land and Resources, and the Ministry of Construction, it was retained as a provincial-level economic development zone. In June 2010, it was approved by the State Council as a national-level economic and technological development zone.
Located in the eastern part of Guang'an City, the Guang'an Economic and Technological Development Zone covers a planned area of 103 square kilometers and comprises three industrial parks: the Xinqiao Industrial Park, the Lingang Logistics Park, and the Binjiang Commercial and Trade Park. It is a national-level demonstration zone for industrial transfer, Sichuan Province’s sole demonstration zone for Sichuan-Chongqing cooperation, and Sichuan’s fine chemical industry base integrating natural gas and salt resources.
