Wangjia Township, belonging to Neighboring County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeastern part of Neighboring County, east of Nuoyi Township, south of Tongshi Township and Xingren Township, west of Lengjia Township and Long'an Township, and north of Sangu Township, with an area of 52.55 square kilometers and a household population of 28,074 as of the end of 2018. In the fourteenth year of Qing Daoguang (1834), Wangjiachang was set up. In 1942, Wangjia Township was analyzed and set up.In 1973, it was renamed Wangjia Commune.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In 1994, it was merged with Gaoshi Township to form Wangjia Township. As of June 2020, Wangjia Town has 2 communities and 6 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
