Xingren Town, belonging to Guangxi County, Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northeastern part of the county seat of Guangxi County, bordering Dianjiang County, Chongqing Municipality in the east, Shijue Township in the south, Shiyong Township and Tongshi Township in the west, and Wangjia Township, Nuoyou Township, and Zhangjia Township in Dazhou City, Dazhu County, in the north. The area is 62.03 square kilometers, with a household population of 28,198 as of the end of 2018. In the Ming Dynasty, it belonged to neighboring mountains. Qing Daoguang fourteen years (1834), set up Xingren field. In the Republic of China, it belonged to the second district, and Xingren Township was set up.In 1949, it belonged to Xingren District.In 1994, the township was changed to a township.In December 2019, the Protecting Neighborhood Township was abolished, and the administrative area it belonged to was transferred to the jurisdiction of Xingren Township. As of June 2020, Xingren Township has 4 communities and 9 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2018, Xingren Township had 6 industrial enterprises and 12 general stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
