Guanhe Township, formerly under the neighboring county of Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the central part of neighboring county, neighboring Yuanshuang Township in the east, Longqiao Township in the south, Liangban Township in the west, and Lianghe Township in the north, with an area of 31.69 square kilometers, and a household population of 12,940 as of the end of 2018. In the twenty-ninth year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to Yuan Shuang Township.In January 1962, Guanhe Commune was analyzed and set up.In January 1967, it was renamed Hero Commune.In May 1973, it was renamed Guanhe Commune.In 1984, the commune was changed to a township.In December 2019, Guanhe Township was abolished, and the administrative area belonging to it was assigned to the jurisdiction of Yuan Shiyuan Township. In 2018, Guanhe Township had 2 industrial enterprises.
