Jingping Township, formerly under the neighboring county of Guang'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the eastern part of neighboring county, neighboring Shiyong Township, Liutang Township, and Fusheng Township in the east, bordering Fenghe Township and Yuanshi Township in the south, Lianghe Township in the west, and connecting with Gulu Township and Shiyong Township in the north. The area is 20.29 square kilometers, with a household population of 12,782 as of the end of 2018.
In December 1949, it belonged to Shiyong Administrative District of Neighboring County.In February 1950, it belonged to Xingren, Fenghe and Jiulong3 Administrative District.In April 1953, it belonged to the Ninth District.In September 1954, it was assigned to Shiyong District.In December 2019, Jingping Township was abolished, and the administrative area it belonged to was assigned to the jurisdiction of Two Rivers Township.
