Hujiajia Street, belonging to Tianjin Binhai New Area, is located in the western part of Binhai New Area, neighboring Xinhe Street in the east, Haihe River in the south, bordering Dongli District in the west, and Huanggang Reservoir's south embankment in the north, with a total area of 75.2 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, the total population of Hujiajiao Street had 130,000 people. In 1953, it was divided into Center Bridge Township and Hetou Township; in January 2002, Center Bridge Township and Hetou Township were abolished and merged to establish Hujiajiao Street. As of June 2020, Hujiayuan Street has 18 communities and 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the street office is located in Chen Circle Community. In 2016, the general public budget revenue of Hujiayuan Street was 75 million yuan; the total output value of industrial enterprises above large scale realized 350 million yuan; and the total retail sales of social consumer goods was 450 million yuan.
