Xiaowangzhuang Town, belonging to Binhai New Area of Tianjin City, is located in the southwest of Binhai New Area, adjacent to Beidagang Farm in the east, Huanghua City of Hebei Province in the south, and bordering Jinghai District in the northwest, with an area of 130 square kilometers and an arable land of 56,000 acres. There are 21 administrative villages (neighborhoods) with 8,219 households and a population of 28,000 under the jurisdiction. In 1965, Xiaowangzhuang Commune was established; in 1986, it was changed from Xiaowangzhuang Township to Xiaowangzhuang Town. As of June 2020, Xiaowangzhuang Town has 2 communities and 20 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
