Gulin Street, belonging to Binhai New Area of Tianjin City, is located in the eastern part of Dagang, Binhai New Area, connected with Tanggu Street and Bohai Bay by Haijing Avenue in the east; bordered by Canglang Canal in the south, and separated from Nanpaihe Town, Huanghua City, Hebei Province by the river; bordered by Dagang Street by Kaixuan Street in the west; and adjoined with Xiaoshan Town, Jinnan District, by Banhang Road in the north; with a total area of 118.12 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, Gulin Street had a resident population of 110,000 people.
In 1953, Shanggulin Township was established; in March 2000, Gulin Street was formed by merging the former Shanggulin Township, Guanhang Street, and Qianmibiao Street. As of June 2020, Gulin Street has 23 communities and 3 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the street office is located at 560 Sixth Avenue, Gangdong.
In 2016, Gulin Street's public revenue was 415 million yuan, an increase of 25.64% over 2015; the total industrial output value above the scale was 3.765 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12%; and the total social merchandise sales amounted to 565 million yuan, an increase of 18.9% over 2015.
