Chadian Street, belonging to Binhai New Area of Tianjin City, is located in the north of Binhai New Area, east of Jijie Canal, south of Zhongxin Eco-city, west of Qinghe Farm, and north of Qilihai Town of Ninghe District, 128 km from Beijing, 50 km to Tianjin downtown area, 40 km to Tianjin Airport, and 22 km to Tianjin Port, with a total area of 54.29 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, Chadian Street had a total population of 87,441.
During the Qing Dynasty, the realm of the current Chadian Street belonged to Chongren Li of Ninghe County; in November 2013, Chadian Town and Hexi Street merged to form Chadian Street. As of June 2020, Chadian Street has 11 communities and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
