Hangzhou Road Street, part of Tianjin Binhai New Area, is located in the northern part of Tanggu Street in Binhai New Area, adjacent to Taida Street in the Development Area to the east, Tanggu Street to the south, Xinhe Street to the west and Xinbei Street to the north, with a total area of 7.92 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, Hangzhou Road Street has a total population of 230,000 people. After the founding of the PRC, it belonged to Liantangzhuang Street; in late 2013, Hangzhou Road Street and Xiangyang Street were abolished, and the areas under the jurisdiction of Hangzhou Road Street and Xiangyang Street were merged to establish the new Hangzhou Road Street. As of June 2020, Hangzhou Road Street has 29 communities under its jurisdiction, with the street office located at No. 50 Hangzhou Road in Xinyuanli Community. In 2016, the general public budget revenue of Hangzhou Road Street was 810 million yuan, an increase of 28.21% over 2010; fixed asset investment was 887 million yuan, an increase of 11% over 2015; and the annual comprehensive financial income was 130 million yuan.
