Haibin Street, belonging to Binhai New Area of Tianjin City, is located in the south of Binhai New Area, neighboring Nangang Industrial Zone in the east, Huanghua City of Hebei Province across the river in the south, Taiping Town in the west, and Dagang Reservoir in the north, with a total area of 157.93 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, there were 220,000 people in the total population of Haibin Street. In January 1964, the realm of the current Haibin Street was part of the Dagang Oil Field; in late 2013, the Haibin Street and Gangxi Street were merged to establish the new Haibin Street. As of June 2020, there are 41 communities and 6 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Seaside Street, and the street office is located in Gangxi New Town. In 2016, the total output value of industrial enterprises above scale in Seaside Street amounted to 4.054 billion yuan; the total social commodity sales totaled 5.89 billion yuan.
