Zhaishang Street, belonging to Tianjin Binhai New Area, is located in the southeastern part of Binhai New Area, bordering with Fengnan City of Hebei Province in the east, Bohai Bay in the south, Jijie Canal in the west, and Fubei Street, Hongxia Road, Dafeng Road and Hannan Highway in the north; it has a total area of about 110 square kilometers, of which the mudflat area is 77.25 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, the total population of Zhaishang Street had about 80,000 people. In the first year of Tang Zhenguan (627), Zhai Shang Zhuang was built, belonging to the land of Yong Nu County, Youzhou, Hebei Province; in 1978, Zhai Shang Street was established. As of June 2020, Zhaishang Street has 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the office located at No. 2, People's Street, Pingyangli Community. In 2016, the general public revenue of Zhaishang Street was 482 million yuan; the gross agricultural output value was 230 million yuan, an increase of 4% over 2015; the gross industrial output value was 7.936 billion yuan, an increase of 11.33% over 2015.
