Xinhe Street, belonging to Tianjin Binhai New Area, is located in the northwest of the core area of Binhai New Area; east to Station North Road, adjacent to Hangzhou Road Street and Xinbei Street; south to Jingshan Railway as the boundary, connected to Tanggu Street; west to Drainage and Irrigation Canal, Tanghuang Road, bordering with Hujiajia Street; north to Yangbei Highway (Hongkong Avenue), bordering with Beitang Street; total area of 31.46 square kilometers. As of the end of 2016, the total population of Xinhe Street had 70,996 people. In 1949, Xinhe Town Office was established; in 1954, it was changed from Xinhe Street Branch Office to Xinhe Street. As of June 2020, there are 13 communities under the jurisdiction of Xinhe Street, and the street office is located in Feihong Street. In 2016, the public revenue of Xinhe Street amounted to 0.37 billion yuan; investment in fixed assets was 1.87 billion yuan; and the total retail sales of consumer goods was 100 million yuan.
