Chuangthaburi (ChanthaburiProvince) is a province in eastern Thailand, close to Battambang Province in Cambodia, and north to south (counterclockwise) of Thailand's provinces of Tong Ai, Rayong, Chonburi, Phetchaburi and Satun. Famous for its specialty of gemstones, it was once the largest collection and distribution center of gemstones in Southeast Asia.
