Hong Thong Province (Thai: อ่างทอง; English: AngThong) is located in the center of Thailand. Formerly known as "Wisatchai Dining City", for the outpost of Ayutthaya Province, and later in the Ayutthaya era moved the capital to the Chao Phraya River side of the Pangkor District, and named "Red Toho", directly under the jurisdiction of Ayutthaya Province, until 1933, was upgraded to the "Red Toho". It was not until 1933 that it was elevated to the status of "Hongtong Province".
The area of Hong Thoi is about 968 square kilometers, about 105 kilometers from the capital city of Bangkok.
