Wulong Township (withdrawn), formerly under Yanting County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southern part of Yanting County, east of Zixi Township and Gaodeng Township, south of Yulong Township, west of Huangdian Township, and north of Sanyuan Township and Bajiao Township. The township people's government is located 18 kilometers away from the county town. The total area is 31.90 square kilometers.
In 1992, Wulong Township was analyzed and set up. As of the end of 2019, Wulong Township had a household population of 9,302. As of October 2019, Wulong Township has 1 community and 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at No. 2, Gulou Street, Wulongchang Township.On December 25, 2019, Beech Creek Township, Wulong Township and Bajiao Township were abolished to establish Nine Dragons Township, with the administrative areas belonging to the former Beech Creek Township, the former Wulong Township, and the former Bajiao Township as the administrative area of Nine Dragons Township, with the people's government of Nine Dragons Township stationed at No. 49, Government Street.
