Lailong Township (has been abolished), formerly under the Yanting County of Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the northern part of Yanting County, east of Chating Township, south of Bazi Township, west of Anjia Township, Jianhe Township, north of Zitong County, Renhe Township. Township people's government is located in low 26 kilometers from the county town. The total area is 30.7 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Lailong Township had a household population of 4,891.
In the Ming, Qing, and Republic of China, it belonged to Baizi Township.In November 1995, Lailong Township was analyzed and established. As of October 2019, Lailong Township has 1 community and 5 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at 150 meters west of Lailong Bridge.On December 25, 2019, Lailong Township, Chating Township, and Paizi Township were abolished to establish Qibe Township, with the administrative area belonging to Lailong Township, the former Chating Township, and the former Paizi Township being that of Qibe Township, with the people's government of Qibe Township stationed at No. 166 Neijiang Street.
