Longquan Township (revoked), formerly under Yanting County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yanting County, east of Gaodeng Township, south of Tianxian Township and Renhe Township in Shehong County, west of Tianxian Township in Shehong County and Yulong Township in Yanting County, and north of Yulong Township. The township people's government is located 21.5 kilometers away from Yanting County. The total area is 23.80 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Longquan Township had a household population of 8,194.
In the thirteenth year of Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty (1874), a field was established.In October 1981, the name was changed to Longquan Township. As of October 2019, Longquan Township has 1 community and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township people's government stationed at Longquan Township Field No. 114.On December 25, 2019, Longquan Township and Gaodeng Township were abolished, and Xiling Township was established with the former Longquan Township and the former Gaodeng Township of Rayon Community, Upstream Village, Lianhe Village, Shuangjian Village, Union Village, Gaohua Village, Xingxing Village, Longxiang Village, Kirin Village, Qianghua Village, Yunyucun Village, Yangchun Village, Maolin Village, Gaofeng Village, Chunhua Village, Yufeng Village, Mujiagou Village, and Shidaochang Village belong to the administrative area of Xiling Township, and the People's Government of Xiling Township is located at No. 77, Government Street, Rayon Community.
