Fuyi Town, formerly known as Fu village stage, the Ming and Qing Dynasties set up a post station, because of its richness and abundance of people, is located near the access to Langzhong's ancient stagecoach road named. Located in the northeast of Yanting County, provincial highway 101 through the territory, east of the south, west of the county, north of Jiange, since the Western Han Dynasty is an important post station in Langzi two states, the first batch of important towns in Sichuan Province. The town has a total population of 33,426 (2017), a cultivated area of 40,667 acres, and a total rural economic income of 71.4 million yuan.
On December 25, 2019, the People's Government of Sichuan Province on the consent of Mianyang City to adjust the administrative division of some townships approved (Sichuanfu Civil Affairs [2019] No. 27): abolish Jin'an Township, the former Jin'an Township and the former Yongtai Township, Wuliu Village, and the former Shiyumiao Township, Baoxi Village, Jingmian Village, Groups 4 to 6 belong to the administrative area assigned to the jurisdiction of Fuyi Township, and the Fuyi Township People's Government is stationed at No. 24, Lower Section of Fuyi Road.
