Zhuzai Town, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the northeastern part of Funan County, neighboring Fifty Shop Town and Hongxing Town of Yingshang County in the east, Zhangzhai Town in the south, Xutang Township and Jiaopi Town in the west, and Yuanjizi Town of Yinzhou District in the north. The area is 80.14 square kilometers, with a household population of 82,944 as of the end of 2019.
In May 1952, it was transferred from Zhuzhai District of Fuyang County to Funan County.In September 1958, it was established as a commune.In March 1983, the society was changed to a township.In April 1992, it was established as Zhuzhai Town. As of June 2020, Zhuzhai Town has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction.
In 2019, Zhuzhai Town has 16 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 120 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
