Wanghua Town, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the southeastern part of Funan County, neighboring Zhonggang Town in the east, Yuzhi Township in the south, Longwang Township in the west, and Miaozhi Township in the north. The area is 59.87 square kilometers, with a household population of 43,262 as of the end of 2019. Before liberation, it belonged to Wanghua Township, the third district of Fuyang County. After liberation, it was set up as Wanghua Township of Funan County.In September 1958, it was established as a commune.In 1969, it belonged to the set commune.In March 1984, the society was changed to a township.In April 1992, it was set up as Wanghua Township. As of June 2020, Wanghua Township has 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2019, Wanghua Town has 14 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 136 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
