Dicheng Town, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the south of Funan County, neighboring Yuji Township in the east, Hongheqiao Township in the south, Gongqiao Township in the west, and Longwang Township in the north. The area is 51.13 square kilometers, with a household population of 44,045 as of the end of 2019. In the third year of Yuan Wenzong Zhishun (1332), Yingshui County was established. Before liberation, it belonged to Wanghua District of Fuyang County.In September 1958, it was established as a commune.In 1979, it was reestablished as a district.In March 1984, the community was changed to a township.In April 1992, it was changed to Dicheng Township.
