Duan Ying Township, belonging to Funan County, Fuyang City, Anhui Province, is located in the southwestern part of Funan County, bordering Gongqiao Township in the east, Fangji Township in the south, Wangyan Township in the west, and Huilong Township in the north across the Valley River. The area is 78.62 square kilometers, with a household population of 71,632 as of the end of 2019. Before 1949, it belonged to Fangji Township, Slide Collection District, Linquan County.In February 1949, it was transferred to Funan County.In September 1958, it was changed to a commune.In March 1984, it was changed to a township.In April 1992, it was removed from the district and set up as Duanying Township. As of June 2020, Duan Ying Township has 13 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. In 2019, Duan Ying Township has 16 industrial enterprises and 167 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
