Xinlang Town, belonging to Sheyang County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the western part of Sheyang County, neighboring Xingqiao Town in the east, bordering Huangsha Harbor and Changdang Town in the south, adjoining Shanggang Town, Jianhu County in the west, and bordering with Heide and Haihe 2 towns with Yunmian River in the north, and is 22 km away from the People's Government of Sheyang County, with a total regional area of 98.75 square kilometers. In the 10th year of Yongzheng of Qing Dynasty (1732), it was divided into Yancheng and Funing counties; in March 2000, it was changed from Xinlang Township to Xinlang Town.
