In 2023, Yancheng was successfully selected as one of the first batch of national pilot cities for carbon peaking. Seizing this opportunity, Yancheng has proposed the high-standard planning and construction of the Yancheng Green and Low-Carbon Science and Technology Innovation Park to accelerate the formation of an industrial cluster focused on green and low-carbon development.Located in the Yannan High-Tech Zone of Yancheng, the Yancheng Green and Low-Carbon Science and Technology Innovation Park is graced by the gentle flow of the Xifu River running alongside it. The park focuses on seven key themes: wind power, photovoltaics, hydrogen energy, energy storage, dual carbon goals, the marine economy, and modern agriculture. Each building represents a distinct industry, with upstream and downstream sectors situated on different floors. The park also features accommodation and dining facilities, all within walking distance of the office buildings.
