Teyong Town, belonging to Sheyang County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the south of Sheyang County, east of Xinyang Harbor and Huangjian Town, Tinghu District, Yancheng City, south of Yandong Town and Nanyang Town, Tinghu District, west of Nanyang Town, Tinghu District, and north of Panwan Town, Yangma Town, and 30 kilometers away from the People's Government of Sheyang County, with a total regional area of 102.48 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Teyong Town was 47,622. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the third district of Yancheng County; in 2000, it was changed from Teyong Township to Teyong Town. As of June 2023, Teyong Township has 5 communities and 7 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed at No. 142, Yazhong Street.
