Haihe Town, belonging to Sheyang County, Yancheng City, Jiangsu Province, is located in the western part of Sheyang County, bordering Heide and Siming 2 towns in the east, adjoining Xinlang Town to Yunmian River in the south, neighboring Gandong Town, Jianhu County, Goudun and Fucheng 2 towns in Funing County in the west, and bordering with Zhenghong Town, Binhai County by the Sheyang River in the north, and is 23 km away from the People's Government of Sheyang County, with a total regional area of 242.43 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Haihe Town had a household population of 103,650. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to the sixth and ninth districts of Funing County; in 1994, it was changed from Haihe Township to Haihe Town. As of June 2020, Haihe Township has 3 communities and 25 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township's people's government stationed at No. 46, Paisen Road.
