Jinsong Street is a street under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang District, Beijing. It is located in the southwestern part of Chaoyang District, between longitude 116°26'19"~116°29'01" East and latitude 39°52'40"~39°53'32" North. The north side is adjacent to Shuangjing Street from west to east by Jinsong Road, the west part of South Liuyang Street, the south side of South Liuyang Road and Guangqu Road. The maximum distance between the east and west of the district is 3.5 kilometers, and the maximum distance between the north and south is 1.2 kilometers, with a total area of about 5.2 square kilometers.
From the late 1950s to the 1970s, Beijing began to build chemical enterprises around Dajiuting, and in 1976, a uniformly planned residential area was built in the western part of Jinsong, which was completed in 1983 and divided into eight districts.In January 1981, Jinsong Street was established.
As of June 2020, there are 15 communities under the jurisdiction of Jinsong Street. 2011, the total population of Jinsong Street is 132,380 people. 2011 end, Jinsong Street has a total of 143 commercial outlets, 3 commodity markets. The total retail sales of consumer goods amounted to RMB 2.97 billion, a decrease of 1.6% compared with the previous year. Sales tax amounted to RMB 240 million, value-added tax (VAT) was RMB 0.02 billion, and enterprise income tax (EIT) was RMB 120 million, up 30.3%, 37%, and 126.5%, respectively, from the previous year.
