Shibaridian Township, a township (district) under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°26′11″~116°32′22″E and latitude 39°48′52″~39°52′15″N. It is located in the southeastern part of Chaoyang District, adjacent to Dougezhuang Township in the east and bordering with Daxing and Tongzhou Districts in the southeast. It is located in the southeastern part of Chaoyang District, adjacent to Dougezhuang Township in the east, bordering with Daxing and Tongzhou Districts in the southeast, bordering with Xiaohongmen Township in the southwest, close to Nanyuan Township in Fengtai District in the northwest, and close to Nanmafang Township and Wangsiying Township in the north. The maximum distance between east and west of the district is 5124 meters, and the maximum distance between north and south is 9708 meters, with a total area of 25.2 square kilometers. In January, 1949, it belonged to the fifteenth district of Beiping City, and in September, 1952, it belonged to Nanyuan District, and in November, 1959, Laojuntang and Shibaridian workstations belonged to Chaoyang Commune, and in July, 1961, Laojuntang and Shibaridian became independent communes, residing in Laojuntang Village and Shibaridian Village, respectively, and in May, 1965, Laojuntang Commune was merged into Shibaridian Commune, residing in Shibaridian Village. In 1983, the commune was changed to a township, and in March 2003, the Shibaridian District Office was set up, with Shibaridian Township practicing "one set of people, two brands". As of June 2020, Shibaridian Township has 11 communities and 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2018, Shibalidian Township has a household population of 42,648.In 2011, the total industrial output value reached 690 million yuan, a decrease of 26% from the previous year. There are 16 industrial enterprises above scale with 1,357 employees. The total fiscal revenue was 2.3 billion yuan, an increase of 3.6% over the previous year. From the point of view of each major tax, the completion of business tax 100 million yuan, value-added tax 0.03 billion yuan, 0.03 billion yuan of corporate income tax, respectively, an annual increase of -8.9%, 10.1%, 68.6%.
