Guanzhuang Township, under the jurisdiction of Beijing's Chaoyang District, is located in the eastern part of the district, between longitude 116°34'14"~116°37'05 "E and latitude 39°52'54"~39°55'18 "N. It is adjacent to Chengguan Township of Tongzhou District in the east and adjacent to Dougezhuang Township and Heishuangdu Township in the south, bordering Sanmafang Township in the west and Changying Township in the north. It is adjacent to Chengguan Township of Tongzhou District in the east, Duguozhuang Township and Heizhuangtuo Township in the south, Sanmafang Township in the west and Changying Township in the north. The area of the township is 10.2 square kilometers.
In 1971, Guanzhuang Brigade of Shuangqiao People's Commune was established, and in 1984, the commune was changed to a township, and in February 2003, Guanzhuang District Office was set up. As of the end of 2020, Guanzhuang Township had a household population of 63,932. As of June 2020, Guanzhuang Township has 13 communities and 12 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the township government stationed at No.1 Guanzhuang Township outside Jianguomen.
In 2011, the total agricultural output value of Guanzhuang Township was 4,635,000 yuan, a decrease of 7.3% from the previous year. The trade turnover of urban and rural bazaars amounted to 610 million yuan, an increase of 0.9% over the previous year. The total fiscal revenue was 150 million yuan, with the completion of sales tax of 320 million yuan, value-added tax of 0.08 billion yuan, corporate income tax of 250 million yuan and personal income tax of 0.05 billion yuan, respectively, an increase of 103.9%, 0.1%, 55.4% and 48.1% over the previous year.
