Xiaohongmen Township, a township (district) under the jurisdiction of Chaoyang District, Beijing, is located in the southern part of Chaoyang District, between longitude 116°25′08″~116°29′18″E and latitude 39°48′31″~39°51′02″N. It is bordered by Shibaridian Township in the east and Beijing Economic and Technological Development Area in the south. It borders with Shibaridian Township and Beijing Economic-Technological Development Area in the east, Old Palace Township and Yizhuang Township of Daxing District in the south, Nanyuan Township of Fengtai District and Old Palace Township of Daxing District in the west, and Shibaridian Township and East Tieshiying Street of Fengtai District in the north. The maximum distance between the east and west of the area is 5 kilometers, and the maximum distance between the north and south is 3.3 kilometers, with a total area of 12.4 square kilometers.
Xiaohongmen Township was originally part of Nanyuan District; in May 1958, the eastern suburb was renamed Chaoyang District, Nanyuan District was abolished, and Xiaohongmen was transferred to Chaoyang District; in January 1983, Xiaohongmen Commune was changed to a township; on December 17, 2002, the Xiaohongmen District Office was set up, and Xiaohongmen Township was given "one set of people and two brands".
As of June 2020, Xiaohongmen Township has 10 communities and 4 administrative villages under its jurisdiction. As of the end of 2018, Xiaohongmen Township has a household population of 30,386.In 2011, Xiaohongmen Township's total fiscal revenue was 200 million yuan, an increase of 28% over the previous year.From the perspective of the major taxes, the business tax was 100 million yuan, value-added tax was 0.2 billion yuan, and the corporate income tax was 0.4 billion yuan, an increase of 18.4%, 15.7%, and 16.3%, respectively, over the previous year. Per capita fiscal revenue of 6,666 yuan, an increase of 10.9% over the previous year.
