Beimu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shunyi District, Beijing, lies between longitude 116°46′25″~116°52′28″ East and latitude 40°01′38″~40°05′53″ North. It is located in the southeastern part of Shunyi District, neighboring Dasungezhuang Town in the east, bordering with Gaolou Town and Yanjiao Town of Sanhe City, Hebei Province in the south, connecting with Lisui Town in the west, and connecting with Yangzhen District in the north. The town area is 32 square kilometers. During the Qing Dynasty (1644~1911), most of the Beimu area was a village and belonged to the Southeast Road. During the Republic of China period, it belonged to the third district of Shunyi County. After the liberation, it belonged to the fourth district of Shunyi County.In 1950, it belonged to the sixth district of Shunyi County.In 1956, Beiwu Township was established.In September 1958, it belonged to the Beiwu Management Area of Li Sui Commune.In June 1961, the Beiwu Management Area was changed to the Beiwu People's Commune.In August 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In May 1994, the township was changed to a town. As of the end of 2018, Beibu Township had a household population of 11,826. As of October 2019, Beiwu Township has 15 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township government is located at No. 1, Government Street, Beiwu Township. At the end of 2011, the total industrial output value of BeiMu town reached 1.82 billion yuan. 5 industrial enterprises above 20 million yuan in size, realizing industrial added value of 91.87 million yuan, an increase of 17% over the previous year. Total fiscal revenue of 330 million yuan, an increase of 30.7% over the previous year. Of which 93.25 million yuan of local revenue, an increase of 24% over the previous year. From the main taxes, the completion of sales tax 104.72 million yuan, value-added tax of 29.93 million yuan, corporate income tax 128.01 million yuan, personal income tax 53.22 million yuan, respectively, an increase of 15%, 27%, 53%, 27% over the previous year.
