Tianzhu Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Shunyi District, Beijing, is located between longitude 116°33′32″~116°37′20″ East and latitude 40°00′59″~40°05′43″ North. It is located in the southwest of Shunyi City, east of Renhe Township and Liqiao Township, south of Sunhe Township and Jinzhan Township in Chaoyang District across the Wenyu River, west of Airport Street, and north of Houshayu Township. The town area is 13.24 square kilometers.
Before the Ming Dynasty, Tianzhu area was a part of Shunzhou and Shunyi County. In 1719, the Tianzhu area belonged to Daxing County of Shunyi Prefecture, except for Longshan and Taoshan. Guangxu thirty-four years (1908), Longshan, Taoshan transferred to Daxing County. In the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), Tianzhu area was transferred to Shunyi.In 1956, the district was withdrawn and a township was established, with five natural villages under its jurisdiction.In April 1963, Tianzhu People's Commune was established.In August 1983, the commune was changed to a township.In November 1989, the township was changed to a town.In April 1998, the town was changed to a regional office.In June 2000, Tianzhu Township was set up in the regional office. As of the end of 2018, Tianzhu Township had a registered population of 14,189. As of October 2019, Tianzhu Town has 3 communities and 8 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town government is located at No. 6, Right Street, Tianzhu Town.
In 2011, the total industrial output value of Tianzhu Town reached 1.63 billion yuan, an increase of 29% over the previous year, and the added value of industry amounted to 280 million yuan, accounting for 13.7% of the GDP. The total fiscal revenue of 1.19 billion yuan, an increase of 45% over the previous year. Of which 350 million yuan of local revenue, an increase of 36% over the previous year. From the point of view of the main taxes, the completion of 370 million yuan of sales tax, value-added tax 160 million yuan, corporate income tax 350 million yuan, respectively, compared with the previous year's growth of 37.3%, -16.2%, 216.5% 0 per capita fiscal revenue of 36,000 yuan, an increase of 97.8% over the previous year.
