Lemen Township, belonging to Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the southwestern part of Zhouning County, southeast of Xiancun Township, south of Jiaocheng District, west of Zhenghe County, Pingnan County border, north of Lidun Township. The total area of the jurisdiction is 134 square kilometers.At the end of 2018, the household population of Lemen Township was 15,351.
Lemen Township Ming called the short door, early Qing Dynasty Zhangyuan Wei Yan in the list of candidates to visit their ancestors, "Lemen Yi Road" to take the meaning of the name Lemen. 1959 January, merged into Lidun Commune. 1961 August, by the Lidun branch out to set up the Lemen Commune. 1963 March, once again merged into the Lidun District. 1966 August, re-establishment of Lemen Commune. 1984 April, Lemen Commune. In April 1984, it was abolished and reorganized as Limen Township. As of June 2020, there are 17 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Limen Township.
