Fenxia Town, belonging to Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the central part of Yanping District, connected with Taiping Town in the east, bordering with Youxi County, Sanming City in the south, bordering with Tazian Town in the west, and bordering with Xia Dao Town in the north, with an area of 89.7 square kilometers in the administrative area. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Furnace Town was 9,445 people. During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Guishan Township; in September 1984, it was changed to Fenxia Township and was stationed in Fenxia Village; in January 1995, it was abolished as a city and became a district, belonging to Yanping District of Nanping City; in March of the same year, it was changed to Fenxia Town. As of October 31, 2021, Fenxia Township has 10 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is stationed at No. 1 Duling Road, Fenxia Village.
