Chimen Township, belonging to Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yanping District, adjacent to Jukou Township in the east, connected to Taiping Township in the south, bordering Nanshan Township in the west, and Yanghou Township in the north, with an area of 106.89 square kilometers in the administrative area. During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Baofu Li of Jishan Township.In September 1984, it was changed to Chimen Township, stationed in Chimen Village, and belonged to Nanping City.In January 1995, it was abolished as a city and became a district, and belonged to Yanping District of Nanping City. As of October 31, 2021, Chimen Township has 9 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Chimen Village.
