Jukou Township, belonging to Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yanping District, bordering Gutian County, Ningde City, in the east, Zhanghu Township in the south, Taiping Township in the west, Chimen Township in the northwest, and Yanghou Township in the north, with an area of 140.65 square kilometers in the administrative area. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Jukou Township was 3,840 people.
During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Jishan Township.In September 1984, it was changed to Jukou Township and was stationed in Jukou Village.In January 1995, it was abolished as a city and became a district, belonging to Yanping District of Nanping City. As of October 31, 2021, Jukou Township has 11 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township people's government is located in Jukou Village.
