Xia Dao Town, belonging to Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeastern part of Yanping District, the upper reaches of the Minjiang River, bordering Fenxia Town in the southeast, Tazian Town and Xichen Town in the southwest, ShuiNan Street in the northwest, Shuidong Street in the north, and Nanshan Town in the northeast, with an area of 151.49 square kilometers in the administrative area. According to the seventh census data, as of 00:00 on November 1, 2020, the resident population of Xia Dao Town was 27,692 people. During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Guishan Township, and in September 1984, it was changed to Xiadao Town, and in January 1995, it was abolished as a city and became a district, belonging to Yanping District of Nanping City. As of October 31, 2021, Xia Dao Town has 2 communities and 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located at No. 18, Hubin Road.
