Mundang Town, belonging to Yanping District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is located in the northern part of Yanping District, east of Daheng Town, south of Huangdun Street, Ziyun Street, Sihe Street, west of Xichen Town, Laizhou Town, Wangtai Town, Xiayang Town, north of Jianou City, with an area of 207.73 square kilometers of administrative area. During the Song Dynasty, it belonged to Qinxiao Township. in September 2002, Maodi Township and Dayang Township were abolished, and Mundang Township was established, with the government stationed in Maodi Village. in May 2003, Anfeng Village in Huangdun Street was transferred to the jurisdiction of Mundang Township. As of October 31, 2021, Mangdang Town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, with the town's people's government stationed in Anfeng Village.
