West Longhuyu Town, belonging to Jizhou District of Tianjin, is located in the eastern part of Jizhou District, bordering Ping'an Town of Zunhua City of Hebei Province in the east, Tangzitou Town and Guojiatun Town of Yutian County of Hebei Province in the south, connecting with Zhouhewan Town in the west, and neighboring with Daduling Town in the north, with a total area of 47.97 square kilometers, 40 kilometers away from the urban area of Jizhou. As of the end of 2019, the registered population of Xilonghuyu Town was 31,194. In 1949, after the founding of New China, the territory of the current Xilonghuyu Township belonged to the fourth district of Zunhua County, Hebei Province; in 2001, it was changed from Xilonghuyu Township to Xilonghuyu Township. As of June 2020, West Longhuyu Town has 17 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in the west of the village of West Longhuyu Village.
