Bieshan Town, belonging to Jizhou District of Tianjin City, is located in the southeastern part of Jizhou District, bordering Da'anzhen Town of Yutian County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province in the east, neighboring Yangjinzhuang Town in the south, connecting with Limingzhuang Town and Blotting Town in the west, and adjoining with Zhouhewan Town in the north, with a total area of 69.5 sq. km, 15 km away from the urban area of Jizhou City. As of the end of 2019, the household population of Bieshan Township was 39,577. In 1953, Bieshan Township was established; in 1993, it was changed from Bieshan Township to Bieshan Town. As of June 2020, Bieshan Township has 50 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is based in Doujialou Village. As of 2019, there are 57 industrial enterprises in Bieshan Township, including 9 above scale, and 90 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
