Xiwotou Town, belonging to Jizhou District of Tianjin City, is located in the south of Jizhou District, on the west bank of the Zhou River, east to the Zhou River, across the river from Yangjinzhuang Town and Xianguang Town, south to the Shuihe River and across the river from Baodi District, west to Houjiying Town and Dongshigu Town, north to Shangcang Town, 25 kilometers from the urban area of Jizhou City, with a total area of 44.79 square kilometers. As of 2021, Xiawotou Town had a household population of 29,300 people.
In 1953, Xiwotou Township was established; in 2011, it became Xiwotou Township, and Baitazi Township was merged into Xiwotou Township. As of June 2020, there are 29 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Xiwotou Township, and the township people's government is located in Houjingliu Village.
As of the end of 2019, Xiwotou Township has 41 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 26 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
