Park Overview
Through more than two decades of sustained development, the Tianjin Beichen Economic and Technological Development Zone has attracted over 500 enterprises from 26 countries and regions to invest in its 37.6-square-kilometer area. Among these are 23 Fortune Global 500 companies, with tax revenue per mu of land exceeding 300,000 yuan on average. The zone has established eight major industrial clusters—equipment manufacturing, biopharmaceuticals, automotive parts, food and beverage, electromechanical manufacturing, rubber products, modern logistics, and new energy. It has established four major industrial bases: high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy and new materials, original innovation, and news and publishing technology equipment. For many consecutive years, the zone has ranked among the top provincial-level development zones in the city across five key economic indicators: total tax revenue, export earnings, total investment, patent applications, and employment generation. Its economic output accounts for more than 50% of Beichen District’s total.
