Houjiaying Town, belonging to Jizhou District of Tianjin City, is located in the southwest of Jizhou District and on the left bank of the Shuihe River, neighboring Xiawotou Town and Dongshigu Town in the east, Baodi District across the river in the south, Sanhe City and Sangzhi Town of Hebei Province in the west, and Yuguzhuang Town in the north, and is 35 km away from the urban area of Jizhou City, with a total area of 56.26 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Houjiaying Town had a household population of 39,303. In 1953, Houjiaying Township was established; in 2001, it was changed from Houjiaying Township to Houjiaying Town. As of June 2020, Houjiaying Township has 43 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the township's people's government is located in the south of Linzhuangtuo Village. As of the end of 2019, there are 30 industrial enterprises in Houjiaying Township, of which 2 are above scale, and there are 70 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with business area of more than 50 square meters.
