Baijian Town, belonging to Jizhou District of Tianjin, is located in the western part of Jizhou District, bordering Bangjun Town in the east, Sangzi Town in the south, Duanjialing Town of Sanhe City, Hebei Province, Pinggu District in the west, and adjoining Xujiadai Town in the north, 22 kilometers away from the urban area of Jizhou, with a total area of 43.31 square kilometers. As of the end of 2019, Baijian Town has a registered population of 21,494.
At the beginning of the Qing Dynasty, the territory of the current Baijian Town was divided into Xihua Township Li, Xiangqing Tunli and Yongqing Tunli; in October 2001, it was changed from Baijian Township to Baijian Town. As of June 2020, Baijian Town has 19 administrative villages under its jurisdiction, and the town's people's government is located in Baijian Village.
As of 2019, Baekjian Township has 11 industrial enterprises, including 1 above scale, and 45 general stores or supermarkets with business area over 50 square meters.
